I can't wait to watch it--I hate to admit it, but I like to watch these things. Will it have an impact on the primary tomorrow? We shall see. I remember how critical Mr. Newt was of Bill Clinton about Monica - what's her name? These holier than thou politcians, no matter what party affiliation, have some gall.

maybe Newt should have followed his own advice back in the 90's during the Clinton affair and dropped the whole pious baloney act.
This guy is the biggest hypocritical, pathological liar walking contradiction there ever was, and he is not nearly as smart as he thinks he is.
He asked because he got caught.

Newt's current popularity is very much attributable to his utter and admirable contempt for Obama's stooges in the liberal press. CNN's John King looked almost stupid enough to earn a spot in MSNBC's cartoonish prime time line-up. Almost.

John King opening the debate with that question, from a journalistic point of view, was an awful, distasteful, below the belt gambit. I'm no fan of Newt, but he was prepared for it. He did a great job on reframing the question so that King and his ilk were the ones whose behavior is disgraceful. Coming from Newt, it was the kettle calling the pot black. But it worked. I predict Newt is going to win the SC primary tomorrow, and do well in Florida. When I first heard that his ex wife had a bombshell, I thought it might be a nuke Newt thing. He brought up the idea of an open marriage with her? BFD. She helped him more than hurt him.

Oh please let Newt be the candidate!
