Guess Who Came To The Seder?

Busy, busy, busy with family get togethers this week. So I'm a day late posting this one. Why was Saturday night here in Amherst different from any other Passover seder? Guess who came to dinner!

Our nephew, Sam, has a lot of connections. He made this happen. The president just had one request before he agreed to come. He wanted everyone to pitch in cooking the dinner. No free riders. So we agreed with the " Individual Mandate " idea and he agreed to enjoy the meal with us. He wanted to lead, but we all voted for him to be a " participant. "

Moriarty was chosen to lead the ceremony. And she cooked the meat pitika.

The president did a fine job reading his part of the Passover story. But we had to borrow a teleprompter from Channel 40 in Springfield.

Funny, he doesn't look Jewish.

wow, commencement speaker at your old high school, books on Kindle, a novel in the works.....and now the most singular of honors- POTUS at your dinner table. You should be mighty proud of yourself but I know your innate humilty precludes you from tooting your own horn- that's my job.

You don't have to be Jewish to attend a seder. I've been crashing these parties for years.

Mr. Collins

The Pope was coming, but there was an emergency meeting at The Vatican, and it got nixed at the last minute.
