You Could Get Anything You Wanted...

We know some folks who spent a weekend in Provincetown last month. They had a great couple of days, staying at the fabulous Land's End Inn in P-Town's west end. You never know who you're going to see or run into in P-Town. We've run into Norman Mailer, crossed paths with Dustin Hoffman, seen Spalding Gray. The folks we know were in a gallery in Provincetown. Met a woman, not quite elderly, but of a, above a certain age.

She was on oxygen. She didn't look like the woman Arlo Guthrie wrote and sang about, but yes...

It was Alice. Alice Brock.

Alice has been living in P-Town for years. Her place is on the water, in the west end of that special town. An artistic type, the colors at sunset, the shades, the hues, the reds and the blues, are probably what attracted her to this small town at land's end.

And maybe the air. The salt air.

And now she needs oxygen.

You could get anything you wanted at her restaurant in the western part of the state. Anything you wanted, you could get...
