It's our second day on Marathon Key. Spectacular views. We're going to get stone crabs for tonight. With orange/horseradish sauce. And may some key lime pie for dessert. Lots of interesting railroad history here. Flagler stories. He's the railroad baron responsible for building the line out to Key West. We walked part of the bridge that was the RR bridge yesterday. Met a gaggle of terrific kids from Cinci, Ohio here to launch off on a kayak trip to Key West. We heard the instructor say, " If a manatee bumps your kayak..." The wind was with them yesterday. It'll take five days to go the 50 miles on the water. Bon Voyage you Cinncinati Kids

Where on Marathon? We used to spend a lot of time in the Keys. But it got too $$$. Now, it's Texas and Arazona.

Knight's Key RV, cap'n. Right at the north end of the 7 mile bridge. Nice place. Site right on the water. Very nice beach just down the road, probably one of the few good ones in The Keys. Will get in that clear blue green water today for sure.
